 \end{center}

Why each change was made, in the order of the diff:

- Dissertate.cls: the first line is added. The GNU Affero General Public
License asks a changed work to say that it was changed and when, and the
line points to the list of the changes, which is this file.
- Dissertate.cls: the caption package is loaded with justification=RaggedRight
instead of justification={justified,RaggedRight}. Since 2020 the caption
package takes one name there and stops the compile with "Undefined
justification" on the pair. Older versions read the pair as a list whose
last name won, so the captions are set ragged right as they always were.
- Dissertate.cls: the NYU style file, assets/schools/NYU/style.sty in the
repository, is added at the end, unchanged. This is how the repository's own
build script (scripts/build) makes the NYU template from the class that all
  schools share.
- endmatter/colophon.tex: the second line is added, for the same reason as the
  first line of Dissertate.cls.
- endmatter/colophon.tex: the figure is commented out. It shows the
illustration Science Experiment 02 by Ben Schlitter, which the colophon
gives as CC BY-NC-ND 3.0, a license for noncommercial use only, so
colophon.png is not shipped here. To show a picture of your own, add it to
the endmatter folder, name it in the \includegraphics line, remove the
percent signs of the six lines and put one before \vspace*{200pt}.
- endmatter/colophon.tex: the \vspace*{200pt} line is enabled, the file's own
alternative for a colophon without an image.
- endmatter/colophon.tex: the sentence that credits the illustration is
removed, since the illustration is not shown.
